Interesting report. We had previously confirmed 395.800 as a UHF air tac
channel for the Springfield F-16's. We stopped by Abe Lincoln Memorial
Airport over the weekend. Only one Illini F-16 was there and he was getting
pushed back into a hangar while freshly fueled, possibly for motor
maintenance - which will be the new role for the base in Springfield. Do we
have a confirmed date for the big switch from IL ANG to IN ANG for this
squadron? I couldn't find anything official on the web. Gee, I'll really
miss these guys! Happy Scanning! - Ted
