Oh, sorry: ZOA/134.15 ... that's pretty much where you'll hear any
oceanic-bound flight from the San Francisco area. My experience with
387.1 is that both the transmitter and the receiver are awful; even the
most die-hard never-mix-with-the-rabble fighter pilots usually use VHF
in that sector :)
CACTI 71 asked Travis/CP if they could dump fuel in order to get the
weight down for their return, and they were denied. ZOA gave them some
room to burn it off for ~45 minutes and CACTI landed after that.
AFAIK, the second wave is still at SFO this morning.
