[MilCom] USN HYDRA Radio Communications System

I don't recall seeing any posts about be able to monitor these systems.  It 
appears that they are low power system, so I would guess that perhaps a 
range of under 3 miles would be the norm?

Anyone successfully monitoring these ships?
