Busier than expected.
Heading for Montana for about 10 days, so won't be posting for a while.
372.20: JOSA-861, (C-21A, CO-ANG), takeoff Colorado Springs. Return later.
372.20: JOSA-089, (C-21A, Peterson), takeoff Colorado Springs. Tried to get
back in later in the day, but Colorado Springs was on a lightning hold with
winds to 39 knots and 1 inch hail. May have diverted to Pueblo.
275.80: STUD-11, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
239.025: ARMY 00181, (CH-47D), enroute to Fort Carson for landing. Seems to
be going back and forth between Fort Carson and the AFA Academy where he is
doing paradrops on 389.40.
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), cleared to Davis Monthan.
354.15: LOBO-89, (F-16, SD-ANG), with Denver Center, FL 280. Switch 380.15.
239.025: EXPERT-41, (F/A-18E/F, VFA-122, Lemoore), land Colorado Springs.
Take off later headed east.
354.05: REDEYE-11, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), with Denver Center. In the
Block
210 - 230. Requesting direct to the IP for AR-201 West. Is looking for
(TURBO-12,
KC-135R, McConnell). Switch 348.70.
349.20: ASCOT-7013, (RAF, Unk type), requesting WX for Tinker, Mountain
Home,
Billings (MT), Calgary (AB), Edmonton (AB) and Cold Lake (AB).
121.00: REACH 4435, (C-130, Little Rock), land; then on to Little Rock.
263.00: SPARTA-1, flight of 4, (F-16, ?Hill?), with Denver Center, FL 360.
Trying to pick their way through a bunch of t-storms. Requesting direct Wichita
Falls. Finally get in the clear and request descent to 270. Switch 379.95.
239.02: YANKEE-45, (Unk type), land Colorado Springs. Signal very weak, but
didn't sound like either C-21 or C-130.
372.20: JOSA-129, (C-21A, Scott), land Colorado Springs; then on to Scott.
372.20: BREW-88, (T-1A, Vance), one call to Unk Dispatch.
239.025: DICEY-08 and 45, (T-37B, Sheppard), land Colorado Springs.
291.675: DICEY-92, (T-37B, Sheppard), emergency divert to Buckley. Has
minimum fuel and Colorado Springs is on flight hold for microburst activity. ((Been
like that all afternoon. One acft gets in OK and then the WX closes back down
again and forces the next guy to divert))
228.45: BAT-72, (Unk), request WX Centennial Airport. ((Kinda wierd, because
neither a KC-135 nor a B-2 could land at Centennial due to weight
restrictions; so don't know what this guy is up to or who he was))
