[MilCom] 143.95 Data Transmissions -- MARS?

I was in USAF MARS about 10 years ago and back then 143.95 was indeed
the nationwide packet frequency for USAF MARS. I don't know if it still
is because in the past several years I have heard that all the MARS
services can now use eachother's VHF/UHF frequencies. Back then we used
standard AX.25 packet radio, just like what is used in ham radio. I
don't know if they are currently doing the same thing. There are a
number of hardware TNCs and some sound card base programs for packet.
Google "packet radio" and "sound card packet radio" and you should be
able to find all the info you need.
