[MilCom] General Ques - Mil Helicopter Radio

Gentlemen,
Need some advice about something I used to know but now forgot.  NG Helos 
use low band radios in the 40 MHz range.  These FM channels tend to be wider 
than land mobile's wide, 25kHz, channel.  If I remember correctly and please 
correct / confirm for me that the channels were 30kHz wide.  This would 
require a FM deviation of 15kHz or +/-7.5kHz.  Have I lost my mind or did I 
remember correctly.
