[MilCom] Westover Air Show Cancelled!

Thanks for the report, Ken.
It sure will be nice when the war is over so the Military bases can
return to 'normal' and we can get some predictable Air Show times and
Air Show Teams again. Since 9/11, Air Force Bases such as Travis have
either had limited shows, or no shows at all not too mention the
additional restrictions on scanners, chairs, and where the general
public can go on the base etc.
And it's bad enough that the people here in Marin\Sonoma have to
travel so far to an Air Force Base for an Air Show, but when the Air
Show schedules can change at a drop-of-the-hat because of the war, it
makes for a lot of disappointed Air Show buffs. ;-)
I wish that Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato never closed....there
had some great Air Shows there back in the day. But nowadays if you
even mention "Air Force Base" and "Marin" in the same breath, a public
flogging would be considered. ;-)
