[MilCom] So Long, Hunters

Hey Guys,

Haven't been around much (Been busy and also a 2 week trip to CA in 
Feb/Mar).

Even though they don't disestablish until June 30, VFA-201, better 
known as "The Hunters" held it's ceremonial last "operational" flight 
Thursday. They still got at least two jets (AF-201/205 are going to New 
Orleans & here at Atlanta, Respectively) but as far as regular ops 
flights go, They're through. :(

A few other notes from upcoming/recent decomms:
VS-24 "Scouts" will deactivate March 30 2007
HS-75 "Emerald Knights" held their decomm ceremony Feb 25, They 
officially deactivate April 1 2007.
VMFA(AW)-332 "Moonlighters" will deactivate March 30 2007
VMFA-134 "Smokes" will deactivate August 31 2007
And one I just found out last weekend...
VMFA-142 "Flying Gators" will deactivate September 30 2008 :(

Rumors floating around that VMFA(AW)-121 & VMFA-212 are going..Time 
will tell.
