[MilCom] Thunderbirds Nellis

 In all likelihood the airspace around the Las Vegas speedway was under 
control of the Thunderbirds at Nellis tower since the track is located only a mile 
or two north of main
runways 21L,21R.  Friday afternoon and evening were quiet at Nellis as all 
local TV traffic
copters checked in with Nellis tower as they covered the massive crowds and 
traffic surrounding the base. (Est. crowd for event: 160,000).
Heard Saturday morning departing Nellis:
Clnc delivery 120.9  289.4      "Hoist 90"  (presumably KC-10)
                                            "Poison 38,39" (presumably 
T-38"s)
One of them was cleared to Eglin.
Unable to linger longer as I had to catch a flight home yesterday afternoon 
from McCarran.
