[MilCom] Consolidated Command Posts & Emergency Dispatch Centers

Apparently future Air Force plans are to have one installation control 
center, that not only will have the typical command post (now being 
consolidated) but also fire & law enforcement dispatch.

I think the US Navy & US Army have also been working on similiar 
consolidations?  Personally, I always thought it was waste to have able 
bodied technical military & civilian security, law enforcement & 
firefighting personnel performing the dispatch function rather than being 
out in the field.  IMHO there's many disabled military and/or retired 
military personnel who could fit right into these dispatcher duties, it's a 
win win situation.   Roger, over & out!!! :) ;)
