An extensive WWWeb search using Mr. Google's technical expertise found the
following reference which provides VERY significant details on the upcoming
SAR competition.

http://www.ner.cap.gov/es/NER_SARCOMP_OPLAN.doc

OR in html:

It looks like VERY extensive use of radio communications can be expected
during this exercise, from airborne, mobile, & portable stations, primarily
on Saturday (6/16/07).

I don't think any near fence line "on scene" monitoring activity would
produce good results since most of the operational competition will be held
at off base sites. So most likely high hill/mountain monitoring, such as
Skinner State Park (Hadley/S. Hadley MA line)
http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/central/skin.htm would produce the BEST
monitoring results.

Check the reference above for much more specifics on the exercise area,
etc.... Additionally, remember that "Monitoring Times" magazine's June
2007 edition, has an extensive frequency list of both current CAP HF/VHF/VHF
Air, as well as HF/SSB/ALE frequencies.

Let me know if any of you decide to monitor the activity.
