There is a series of wiki articles on the new GRE scanners at the RadioReference website, and as indicated 
at the top, a dedicated forum for them;

Evidently some folks got their hands on pre-production models and are constantly tweaking the articles 
with specs; however it appears that the new digitals will have 380 mhz trunking via custom tables, much like
the PRO-96 (but without the freq limitations). While not milcom, it seems even 700 mhz trunking might be
available using the same method.

In addition, Rich Wells (yes of Strong Signals) did a review (probably about 2 pages long) of the 500 for the August PopComm. He's likely using a pre-production model, but still going to be a good read.
