Jody,

I haven't had the shot to listen (Work nights from 5-11 Wed-Sat), But
keep an ear open. They may've re-activated them for more OIF action.

Subject: [MilCom] HMLA-773 surge of activity

Past 2 days here in north Georgia HMLA773 has been in the air alot more
than
average doing all kinds of training that I have been hearing. Their
discretes
301.2 and 264.2 have been very busy with sim attacks on ground targets.
They
seem to be just flying around and using whatever is in thier path as
sim'd
targets. Hearing some really cool stuff on 301.2 right now. They just
passed
overhead here in Calhoun georgia and are setting up to attack vehicles
at a
intersection near my house. Anyone know the reason for the sudden surge
in
activity from hmla773? It has been rare in the past years to hear much
from
these guys on their tac freqs of 301.2,264.2 and 36.1.

Jody
North Georgia
