Greg & the group:
Any idea what the CA Army National Guard has installed at that site for
local/regional tactical comms?
A frequency guide I have from 1983 shows that the ARNG operated the "White
Repeater" on Mt Diablo, 399.70R with 396.55 input & 399.70 White Simplex
Other freqs included:
32.50 Statewide Convoy Channel #1
46.90 Statewide Convoy Channel #2
399.65R (396.50) Common Repeater Sacramento
399.65 Common Simplex
399.60R (396.45) Red Repeater
399.60 Red Simplex
399.75R (396.60) Yellow Repeater
399.75 Yellow Simplex
It's interesting that they were using this band way back in the 1980's for
tactical comms!!
