You brought a tear to my eye. Ah, the good old days of VHF/UHF
before all the trunking craziness. When repeaters and coverage were
strong, no one knew what failsafe mode was, P25 was a letter
of the alphabet and odd number, and there was mutual aid where
everyone could actually talk to each other!.
