Morning kids, in reference to Ft Huachuca, I can tell you that
the entities such as the MP's, Fire Dept, Medical and Range Control folks
all have access not only to the local Police Dept's channels (Sierra
Vista PD, Huachuca City PD and Cochise County Sheriff), they also have
access to the local Fire Departments (Sierra Vista, Huachuca City & Fry
Fire). In addition, the military has access to the Coronado National
Forest nets and the local BLM nets.

The obverse is also true, all of the entities mentioned above
(PD's, Fire, Sheriff, BLM & CNF) have access to the Nets that are
resident on the Post, such as the MP's, Ft Fire, MEDDAC & Range Control.

In case your wondering, everything out here (both on & off post)
is still VHF Conventional. No trunking, no P25, no encryption, and 95%
repeater operations!
