[21:07:20][FRQ 09025000][TO ][OFF ][TIS][GS1 ][AL0] BER 30 SN 05 followed by CHARIOT 01 (E-3 AWACS) ALE initiated call via Offutt HF-GCS to DSN 884-1010 VIKING 3 OPS. VIKING OPS suggests they close to safe distance with CONDOR 01 currently 20 minutes ahead for T-storm penetration. CHARIOT 01 cites regulation prohibiting flight in known T-storm area with malfunctioning radar. Colonel is aware of situation. T-storms behind them prevent return to Tinker and line of storms near Panama prevent continuing on course. After much discussion they divert to Curacao. CHARIOT 01 mistakenly makes a 125.200 MHz callout on 9025 kHz
