[MilCom] Additional US Continental HF Global Ground Stations?

My posted rumor is definitely wrong!!!!

HOWEVER,  I'm sure many of you have noted that there appears to be some 
additional local (lower powered) HF/ALE stations at the base/wing level that 
are being implemented throughout the US.  KCEF definitely has HF/ALE in 
"sporadic" operation.   Since most of these are operated at the Command Post 
level (with perhaps some squadron operations offices also having access), it 
will be interesting to see/hear IF the local Command Posts will be able to 
perform HF phone patches since many already have the equipment available to 
perform these phone patches on their respective UHF/VHF radios.

Also It's interesting to see postings & monitor the increased MARS stations 
involvement in performing not only morale/welfare phone patches but also 
direct operational support phone patches. So perhaps this is becoming an 
expanded MARS mission.
