hi guys

after reading Jody's group mail this morning i sent him some information that i thought would be of interest

here are the final results of our conversations - if we have solved another part of a puzzle here that would be fantastic... maybe a longshot or coinsidence but who knows for sure...

please read below which i hope will be of interst to some of you
cheers
Cliff

hi all

re my mail this morning.

for anybody that is into Satcom, the following maybe of interest..
there has been some interest in the USA/Canada over the last few weeks on 254.200 with various posts etc with certain things that have been received and i read Jody's email from Georgia this morning and then thought about hearing Magic 60 and hearing him say SKYNET aswell as Bandbox... its was only a hunch but i thought i would reply to Jody and then received the following back from him which i obviously cant guarantee that this is the SKYNET freq for sure but for anybody thats into SATCOM perhaps you would like to try these.
please read below the conversation and hopefully youll get the jist
of what i am talking about lol

Hi Jody

This is all very intruiging.

When I read your email this morning, It did make me think about when I heard Magic 60 on 283.075 which is known as Bandbox/Eflux as when he called Bandbox he was also speaking to SKYNET at the same time and this made me think.
Bandbox/Eflux is an air defence radar / tactical frequency in Belgium which is 283.075
But as I say he did also say SKYNET too,,, if its the same, then you have solved some kind of puzzle for us here in Europe without realising it as maybe Skynet were on 294.9 I will try this frequency tmrrw morning and also give 254.200 a go here in England tonight.

cheers
Cliff

Cliff, as I was talking to another guy he confirmed that I was hearing what you were hearing this morning! Here is a email he sent me:

"Since November last year I regularly hear AM comms on 254.200 here in Europe. I never heard Calgary Arrival on it, though it does carry weak GCI traffic from the RNLAF CRC Nieuw Milligen, callsign "Bandbox". The real GCI freq = uplink freq = 294.900. Thought it was worth to mention this since Calgary Arrival also seems to use 294.900."Is this the "bandbox" that
I was hearing thru the sat this AM? JodyNorth Georgia

hi Jody

this morning from England, i was listening to Magic 60 who may have been somewhere over the Netherlands.
he was working Eflux in Belgium on 283.075 ''known to us as Bandbox/Eflux'' when he was talking to them
he seemed to be talking to Skynet too'' i wonder if this is co-incidence or another..
at the time, Magic 60 was working Tiger 31 Flight ''BAF F16's using the callsigns of Tiger 31 32 33 and 34''
if they were using SATCOM too, ive no idea which frequency they were using... quite possibly a total
coinsidence but i thought it would be worth mentioning.

cheers
