[MilCom] ANG Pilots Carrying Radio Scanners?

Interestingly, it appears that some pilots from the 101 ARW, Bangor ANGS are 
carrying portable scanners while in flight and actually monitoring 
activity!!!!  Wow!!!!

I always liked this unit in my dealings with them many years ago.  Some of 
these Air National Guard professionals have been together for 30+ years in 
the same unit!!!!   Congratulations on your 60th anniversary!!!!
