Greetings everyone,

Further to my last message, the unknown aircraft that arrived about 2014
UTC Saturday was COUGAR 46, a CF-18 from 410 Squadron, CFB Cold Lake. It's
now parked on the ramp at the Regina Airport. Since it's early evening,
I'm quite certain he will RON Regina, and fly out sometime tomorrow. The
pilot is probably visiting family/friends here in Regina.

As I said in the previous post, we only get the Moose Jaw military
aircraft in Regina, and only during the week days. CF-18's in Regina are
extremely rare, and there are rarely any military aircraft here at all on
the weekends. I don't know what the occasion is today, but apron 2 at the
Regina Airport is almost "chock a block" with military aircraft. I suspect
they are all RON Regina. Earlier this evening parked on the apron there
were:

3 x CT-155 Harvard trainer aircraft from NFTC Moose Jaw
1 x CT-156 Hawk jet trainer aircraft, also from NFTC Moose Jaw
1 x CF-18 from 410 Sqn Cold Lake

Add to that the CF-18 that departed earlier today... Don't know what the
occasion is, but I'm not complaining.

I'll have to put on a recorder tomorrow and see if I can catch some
callsigns for the departing aircraft.

Rob
