Generally, they use typical VHF Marine Radio to talk with the various USCG 
Fixed facilities.  Channels 16 (156.80), 21A (157.05), 23A (157.15), 82A 
(157.125), 83A (157.175)
According to Grove's "Military Frequency Directory" 2nd edition, there's 
also 3 frequencies  in the 162.XXXX & 165.XXXX range used.   Specifically 
listed includes:  Rockland CGS, South Portland CGF, Southwest Harbor Group 
(now sector?).
