Well, folks i don't think this has been brought up yet
but after the grieving process do the Angels invite
last years lead solo back to fly #6 or do they go with
a 5 ship formation in memorandum?  I have been sick
all weekend (and continue with it now) and hearing
this news Saturday just made me sicker.  But, as with
all professions the job must go on.  I am not partial
to either team (if it's loud i like it) but the Blues
have probably meant more to me here lately since they
were at the shows i have attended most recently, the
T-birds just don't come within a 3 hr drive of me.  

The schedule has them picking back up with the May 5th
and 6th show but red letters in fine print says
schedule TBD pending on when the team resumes
practice.  I was thinking more of a 4 week stand down.
 So i was wondering if they'll ask last years #5 to
come back to finish the season?  Or will they stick
with 5 planes?

To close there was a letter to the editor in our local
paper saying to end all military airshows.  It really
PO'd me and i just can't find the words to strike back
and be tactful either.  But i'll try.
