Sorry, nothing to add from me unfortunately. From home, I am
too far away to hear aircraft low in the pattern at Beaufort or
recieve any of the base's ground nets on most days. I would
guess that most of the traffic regarding the incident probably
occurred on the Beaufort County TRS and the South Carolina
    Palmetto 800 systems. MCAS Beaufort's Crash/Fire department
uses the system and it would have been the best way for them
to coordinate with the civilian departments off base.

A member of the ScanSavannah group mentioned going to the
show, perhaps he will be posting a report of what he heard in
    the next day or so.

I did not attend the airshow as I no longer attend any, particularly
those held at military installations. I grew tired of being treated
like a terrorist or threat just because I carry both a camera and
scanner. Furthermore, it just isn't fun to carry a lens around in my
pants pocket just so I can use two lenses, have a handful
of film canisters in the other, extra radio batteries tucked in
a back pocket and God knows what else banging into my knee
in a cargo pocket because the base authorities won't let you
carry a camera bag. The constant stops to check my radio the
last time I went to a Beaufort show was one of the reasons I quit.
