PAT stands for Priority Air Transport.  They are
usually small Army transports such as the C-12 (King
Air 200), the C-26 (Metroliner), the UC-35 (Citation
Ultra), etc.   They carry people of higher rank.  It's
not restricted to just that but i hope you get the
idea.  PAT is to the Army as JOSA is to the Air Force.
