It is Sun 5:05pm EDT (2105z).
    Reach 805S, the Charleston C-17A that flies the weekly shuttle to
Patrick AFB, Homestead, MacDill, NAS Jacksonville, just departed Patrick AFB. He
was not on the ground very long here. When approaching from the north, he
called Patrick Base Ops on 372.2 for about 20 minutes with no joy. MacDill
(across the state) heard him and responded, and Homestead  heard him and responded;
both of those bases also use the 372.2 freq.
    Patrick AFB ground folks have got to be among the the worst. It is a
big surprise if an acft can get a response from Base Ops or the CP here, and
when they do they can expect a careless and sometimes annoyed attitude. The
fact that this is Sunday, is no excuse; it is like this every day.
