Gil & the group,  the very current publically available information 
indicates that it will remain a MARS authorization during military VHF 
rebanding that must be completed by 1/1/08.  Also you might want to search 
the 148-150.8 mhz band next time you monitor the transmission.  There's some 
monitoring indication that MARS is using "tight" frequency spreads on 
repeaters keeping the inputs/outputs within each sub band  138-143, or 
148-150 mhz bands rather than one in the lower band & the other in the 
higher band.

0947 hrs local
MARS stations troubleshooting software problem for packet system. I only 
heard one station. The only info I have for this freq is MARS.
