Your in luck, Mr Google seems to indicate that this remains a tactical
air/air frequency after rebanding.
Grove's "Military Frequency Directory" 2nd edition seems to indicate that at
the present time this frequency is primarily used by the USN for a base
support type nets. It can also be used by the USAF, USA, & USMC. One Air
Refueling Wing (midwest) & one Fighter Wing (Europe) uses this as an air/air
tactical.
The USIFR Supplement doesn't show this as an air/ground comms to any base.
Mr Fink & OHIOSCAN from Ohio had this as Un IDed frequency in many of his
loggings 2006, 2005
GG for KS has it id'd as 22ARW/931Group air/air McConnell AFB KS
Perhaps if you gave us a bit more information as to the type of air/air
tactical comms taking place, we could pin point type of aircraft/helo?
My guess is that it's an F16 unit also using it for A/A tactical.
Ken
