Greetings everyone,

SNOWBIRD 12, flight of 2, did a flyby of Mosaic Stadium (a.k.a. Taylor
Field) at the opening of the Rolling Stones concert here in Regina,
Saskatchewan. SNOWBIRD 12 orbited the stadium a few times as the opening
act (I can't remember the name of the act) came on stage. Air to Air for
the two SNOWBIRD Tutors was 272.1. They were in contact with STADIUM
CONTROL, likely a handheld radio in the stadium, on 272.1, coordinating
their fly-by. ATC communications were with Regina Tower on 118.6.

After the flyby, SNOWBIRD 12 landed runway 31 at Regina. Based on
discussions with STADIUM CONTROL, the pilots were then likely transported
to the stadium for the concert. I'm sure they got there in time to see the
Rolling Stones take the stage.

There is a second concert this Sunday. If there is another flyby with the
SNOWBIRDS for the Sunday show, they will likely use the same frequencies
and follow the same procedures.
