Hi all,
While searching for an A-A between the PARTY 15 flight of two F-18s that recently
left our area, I stumbled across PACK 11 reading back instructions many times
during approaches at Pease. For example, "left 250, PACK 11" or "left 110, PACK 11"
and the most recent was "after this approach, I'd like vectors for runway 16"
It sounded like a GCA freq to me. Then PACK 11 confirmed it as he said, "GCA, I'd like
vectors for the ILS 16"
Does anyone have this listed as a Pease GCA freq? I can't find it in any of my listings
for Pease and it's the first time I can recall hearing this freq. Usually, I've heard them
use 127.050 for GCA while sitting at Pease. I tried the freq on two different scanners
and even offset the freq a notch in either direction. 251.750 and 251.250 with no results.
It was definitely 251.200 The only other UHF confirmed GCA freq I have listed is 236.800
Any ideas? If not, we may have a new freq and should check it out more often when down at Pease.
Oh yeah, the A-A search for PARTY was un-sucessful as I concentrated all efforts on this Pease freq.
