   At 2130z I heard CARMEN 3 up with Ascension  first, and then Puerto Rico 
on 11175.  He got a phone patch to Nashville's  DSN 778-6342.
   He had trouble hearing the operator on the  Ascension remote site, but 
when she switched to the Puerto Rico site he (and I)  heard her much better.  
That phenomenon continued throughout the day on  11175: sometimes ADW was 
strongest into here, sometimes remote sites were  stronger.  At least it means the 
ADW does not simulcast, but actually  switches.
