[MilCom] to the Shack!

As you may be aware, Radio Shack is closing down some stores.  Now is a
good time to get there for a deal or two.

I expected to get a small handful of resistors, but something overcame
me and I bought a few more `incidentals'.  Oddly enough, I had this same
problem last week at the guitar show.

In any case, since everything's on sale, it means their scanners are
too.  We know certain of them are good for milair.  I got a Pro-96 for
$349 new (this is the digital trunking handheld).  Same price for the
mobile unit.  There are some great deals on the other ones too, milair
and not.  [the 96 has to be opened up via software, I think]

I figure they'll go down further, but you have to balance that against
finding one then.
