It is Tues, 12:16am EDT (1616z).
The astronauts for Saturday's Space Shuttle launch arrived at the KSC
Shuttle Landing Facility in their T-38s this morning. NASA 912 was the first of
them that I heard arrive, and that was a 10:05am EDT landing. He was followed
quickly by NASA 906, NASA 962, NASA 914 and NASA 910 (YL). The inbound
handoff sequence for most of the aircraft was: 133.9, 128.225, 126.525, 124.8,
134.95, 132.65, 128.55.
The countdown clock will begin at 5pm EDT tomorrow (Wed.).
On Friday, at 7pm EDT, the protective Rotating Serving Structure will be
rolled back from the STS on the pad.
On Saturday, at 5:53am EDT, fueling will begin, and at 11:58am EDT, the
astronauts will leave their quarters.
The shuttle is set to lift off at 3:49 pm EDT Saturday (1949z).
All of these events will probably be televised on the NASA TV channel.
