I arrived at 0908 hrs local & departed approximately 1615 hrs local.
Pro 97 was the only radio I used since parking available obscured flight
line, so we all set up in the spectator area outside the airport
administration building.

AIRCRAFT ARRIVALS/SHOW PRACTICE:
CALLSIGNS (Acft Type)
BLUE ANGEL 1, 5, 6 (F18's) (others hadn't arrived yet prior to practice
show)
JEDI 56 (C17)
GRITZ 1 (F16)
SOONER 1 (4 A10's)
BLADE 42 (F18)
MENS 44 (T1?)
COAST GUARD 6585 (HH65A)
EAGLE 1 (F15)
HOOK ? (EA6)
NOMAD 91 (CH47)
FURY 33 (UH60)
MAINE 85? (KC135)
There also was a navy T34 & another aircraft.
C5 (Westover) was already parked

Some interesting frequencies active:
Typical ATC: 121.7/289.4, 118.9/251.1, 325.8
Command Post: 143.825 (A10's) & 303.0
A10 tactical: 139.9
Base Support: 148.45, 148.10, 148.475
Blue Angels
Support: 139.8125 (maint), 142.6125 (Tower Observer to Comm Cart), 1 other
frequencies (didn't find but it is a discrete)
Air/Air Tactical: 284.25, 275.35, 255.20. 237.8, 305.5, 346.50, 237.8

There were about 10 people from the various military monitoring list. Dan,
(one of the "Wagon Guys") didn't bring the wagon but only a backpack with 4
portable radios, 2 were set up on the picnic table with external speakers
(which worked VERY well), along with a portable battery supply). Lots of
other folks (perhaps another 10 or so) with scanners, many with limited
capabilities (no UHF) pretty much unsure of what frequencies to monitor.

Weather was ok but not great. Warm/humid with a light breeze & eventual
cloud cover that resulted in "low show".

Weather forcasts for weekend are mixed. Some forcasters say shows (except
for heavy rain) for the weekend. Others say heavy rain all weekend.
