You're right Al, you can't believe everything in the IFR Supplement. The 
same goes for the Canadian IFR Supplement. I've seen cases where the 
Canadian IFR Supplement lists VHF ATC (PAR approach, etc.) frequencies for 
an Air Force Base. Of course, they're using UHF frequencies exclusively 
for ATC at the base, but these VHF PAR frequencies sometimes end up being 
used for air to air tactical, and other interesting uses. For example, 
134.1 has been used in Canada for air to air tactical, as well as for air 
to air refueling.

Thanks for posting that, Ken. I am getting a lot of  positive messages 
from 
guys about my statements concerning 134.1,  which were challenged here on 
Milcom, but some of the guys want to remain  anonymous to not ruffle 
feathers. 
What a world. Maybe now more guys will  load up that freq and confirm me. 
You 
can't believe everything in the IFR  Supplement.
