[MilCom] Iraq US Military Telephone Communications in Lieu Of MARS Phone Patches

For those of you that are interested.  The Army & Air Force Exchange Service 
allows anyone to buy prepaid telephone call cards that can be given the to 
military personnel, to specific persons, units, or in general

It's estimated that in July 12 million telephone calling minutes will be 
used by troops deployed to
Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.

I guess the days of the MARS amateur radio phono patches have pretty much 
been replaced by phone banks setup in various deployment encampments.
