Living a few miles from WGNAS, I get to see (hear/feel) the airshows
whether or not I'm at WGNAS, whether or not I want to.
I went the first year and was totally blown away, mostly by the F-15(?)
demo where they flew upside down toward each other. Didn't bring the
scanner.
Subsequent years I have had all the freqs loaded in whatever will take
them, ready and waiting for the house to start rocking. And rock it
does. You simply cannot ignore the Angels when they fly over your
house.
Looking forward to this year. My wife is either very brave or very
stupid - she's attending. I'm going to sit in my air conditioned
`shack' and monitor from here.
