This first bit of info was posted in the airshow forum at Fencecheck.com
this morning. "Word was released this week that the T-6 Texan II
Demonstration Teams will be disbanded the end of this year due to funding".
For those who still have a chance to see a demo this year remember that
283.7 is their common discrete.

According to the Air Force Link website, the Thunderbirds will be adding
another female demonstration pilot next year. "The 2007 No. 6 pilot, flying
the opposing solo position, is Capt. Samantha Weeks of the 12th Fighter
Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska". Maj. Nicole Malachowski will
remain as the No. 3 right wing pilot for 2007.
