This is my last post for a week. I make the trek down
I-65 to Pensacola Beach for the Blue Angels
extravaganza. I'll try to listen up for some "real"
Milair this week. I'll have my Pro-97 and BC-296D.
All times are local (CST).
1145: PAT 416 (UC-35) W/Atlanta Ctr 126.825 "checking
in @ FL400"
1150: ARMY 26382 (MH-60K, 1-160th SOAR, #91-26382)
lands Nashville (KBNA) 119.35>118.6 "landing
west cargo ramp" (depart later)
1340: REACH 0172 (C-17A, 62nd AW, McChord, #00-0172)
lands Nashville (KBNA) 119.35>118.6 (depart @
1735 as REACH 304, cleared to Ramstein AB,
Germany 118.6>118.4>, Memphis Ctr 132.1)
1445: HOIST 90 (KC-10A) W/Memphis Ctr 118.875
1450: TOPHAT 1 x ? (either 4 or 6) W/Memphis Ctr
257.75>, Atlanta Ctr 363.1 (Separated from
HOIST 90 and ID'd by HOIST to Center as F-16's)
(A2A: 141.55)
1530: POISON 1 (T-38C, 50th FTS/14th FTW, Columbus)
W/Memphis Ctr 257.75>, Atlanta Ctr 299.2
1555: REACH 367 (C-130H, 118th AW, Nashville) lands
Nashville (KBNA) 119.35>118.6 (also W/CP 322.9)
1710: POISON 81 x 2 (T-38C, 50th FTS, Columbus)
W/Memphis Ctr 288.35
And a correction to yesterday. Adam brought to my
attention that the AMBUSH F-18's should be A or B
models. not C's. As for the callsign AMTRAM being
AMTRAN, i see how Flight Aware spells it but that sure
isn't how the pilots and controllers sound. It sounds
like an M from the crews and controllers. But
whatever. Thanks to those that have the interest to
issue corrections to make sure the info is as correct
as its going to get. See ya'll in a week.
Joe
Nashville, Tn.
