Looks like www.radioreference.com has started a "wiki" that will
consolidate basically all worldwide information on milcom monitoring. Check out:

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Milcom_Web_Pages_and_Mailing_Lists

What I find interesting is the number of mail lists that seem to be
milcom/milair related. shows about 13 groups directly related to milcom. One has to wonder how
may of the same hobbyists on this list belong to the rest of these lists?

What I find interesting is that there are so many of them. Now, not all of those lists are milcom related, of course - some of them cover a specific area, and accept milcom as part of their traffic. But I'm willing
to bet that the list only scratches the surface of just how many milcom-related lists there are out there.

I know that there are some who decry this kind of fragmentation; perhaps some prefer the more regional
approach, since they feel that a given list caters more to their area, and that's certainly a valid reason.
But I'm sure there are many more reasons - both good and bad - for having so many such lists. Part of the
Internet, I'm afraid.
