275.80: SMOKE-31, (F/A-18, ?VMFA-134?, Miramar), cleared to Grissom ARB.
((Pilot was VMFA-134, but jet was an F/A-18C (164720))
275.80: STUD-21, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: REDEYE-11, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
381.40: REDEYE & STUD flights in contact with DARKSTAR (AWAC, Tinker), in
the MOA. Never heard any ACI, or any work freqs being passed.
251.25: TACO-11, flight of 2, (F-16, NM-ANG), in Airburst Range.
372.20: JOSA-379, (C-21A, Peterson), takeoff Colorado Springs. Reutrn later.
228.45: LOBO-82, flight of 2, (F-16, SD-ANG), cancel PPR for Gas-n-go
Buckley. Have enough fuel to make it to Sioux Falls.
364.20: BLOOD ALLEY, (Marine GCI controller), trying to contact
DRAGNET-VICTOR,
(AWAC, Tinker). Has a really horrible squeal in his transmitter.
121.00: REACH 5078, (C-130, Little Rock), land; then on to Little Rock.
121.00: DILLON-1, (C-21A, CO-ANG), land; then on to Lackland/Kelly as
JOSA-846.
275.80: REDEYE-31, flight of 4, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
275.80: SOCK-81, flight of 2, (F-16, Buckley), cleared Cheyenne MOA.
387.15: DRAGNET-VICTOR, (AWAC, Tinker), with Denver Center. Says he is
supposed to be controling REDEYE & SOCK flights, but can't due to equipment
problems.
364.20: BLOOD ALLEY finally makes contact with DRAGNET and tells him he,
(BLOOD ALLEY), is having problems and is going to have to shut down. Will try to
work again on Wednesday. ((Haven't heard BLOOD ALLEY since the days of Kit
Carson MOA))
372.20: SMOKY-01, (C-21A, Peterson), land Colorado Springs.
387.15: DRAGNET-VICTOR, (AWAC), with Denver Center. Has fixed his problems
and wants to do a couple of radar correlation checks before taking control of
REDEYE & SOCK flights. Checks complete and assigns REDEYEs 381.4, and SOCKs
303.00 as work freqs.
121.00: RANGER-34, (KC-130T, VMGR-234, Fort Worth), land. Was supposed to
continue on to North Island, but gets hijacked by another VMGR-234 crew and
returns to Navy Fort Worth as RANGER-22.
306.90: BOAR-01, flight of ??, (F-15, Mountain Home), with Denver Center, FL
370. Switch 397.875 and request direct Mountain Home.
228.45: PRIMO-73, (KC-10A, Travis), request WX Tyndall 2350Z.
372.20: SPACE-2, (C-21A, Peterson), land Colorado Springs.
349.20: TRIPLE-38, (?E-6B, Tinker?), request Wx Lincoln, NE 2400Z.
((Callsign was actually TRIPLE and not 333-8.))
