The February 2006 edition, Popular Communications Magazine, "Tech Showcase" 
column by Steve Douglass titled "Uniden's New BCD396T -- A Scanner For 
Milcom/milair Monitoring?...

Steve gives us a non-technical review comparing results with 1 additional 
portable & mobile/base scanner that he utilizes.

What's VERY interesting is the pictures of the scanner holder that he uses 
in the house.  Wow is all I can say -- must be a lot of earthquakes in TX or 
the wind blowing must really shake is house -- and this will definitely hold 
the scanner no matter what happens!!!!  :) ;)

Consider buying the magazine -- you'll enjoy the review & pictures of the 
"scanner holder"!

BTW I no longer have to go to the big bad city to buy my copy of the 
magazine.. Actually found it at the local newspapesr/magazine store in the 
small community I now have my office in... Albeit lots of trains & but no 
milcom planes!!! :(
