[MilCom] USMC F/A-18s swarming at Patrick AFB today

I believe the odd spelt callsigns like ROKT,NIKEL,GASSR, etc. Is  simply on 
flightplans the callsign can only be five letters. So it's not they  can't 
spell, It's just they gotta cram the call in five  letters :-D
