It is 10:16am EST (1516z).
A short while ago, I watched RI-ANG C-130 "Rhody 44" depart Patrick AFB
here in sunny warm Florida, after being read his clearance back to KOQU. He
requested and got permission to do a low pass over the Shuttle Rnwy a few miles
north of Patrick. After a couple of years of refusing the "Shuttle Tour,"
the Shuttle Landing Facility seems to have become a bit more lenient in the
last two or three weeks and has returned to the policy of allowing the low
approaches to Military aircraft. The pilots usually effuse their gratitude to
the SLF tower when permitted.
   RHODY 44's handoff sequence: 133.75 > 132.65 > 133.8 > 128.55 > 132.65 >
124.8 > 134.0.
