Are these things still being heard in this new calender year past
the holiday?

Using the daily aliased STRATCOM/OFFUTT CP callsign they were
heard every day without fail for decades with their MAINSAIL calls and
short test count, usually between 0000z and 0100z. If not, then often
in the first few hours of the "new day" (such as the MUSHMELON count
on the 2nd), and, rarely, more than once a UTC day at any hour of the
day, but they were always heard. You couldn't miss them - strong
signal, distinctive audio, distinctive operators. I heard them in
December as always, but I've yet to hear a test count this new
calender year.
