and through comms tomorrow.

PRESS RELEASE
The Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer transition flight is on schedule for
Thursday, January 12.
We thought it might be helpful to share some further detail that you might
find useful.
Repositioning Flight
The flight from Salina to the Kennedy Space Center is expected to take
approximately 4 1/2 hours and will cover 1100 nautical miles. The route that
Steve will fly will take the aircraft to Kansas City, then almost directly
to Jacksonville, Florida. He will then fly along the coastline to Ormond
Beach, inland to 20 miles west of Kennedy, then direct to the Kennedy Space
Center.
Schedule For Arrival Day - Thursday, January 12
2:00 pm - Media arrive at Kennedy Space Center
3:30 pm - Transfer to Landing Site
4:00 pm - Expected Time for Landing
4:15 pm - Start of Press Conference
4:30 pm - Press Interviews with Steve Fossett*
*All requests for group or individual interviews with Steve Fossett should
be submitted to Virgin Atlantic Press Officers no later than 12:00 noon on
Thursday.
5:00 pm - Event Ends
