Addendum Re: [MilCom] KBAF Lodging & Viewing Points for "Near Scene"/ "On Scene"Activities

Hmm also one additional "On Scene"/"Near Scene" viewing area, for those of 
you who are "EXPERIENCED" (and I emphasize this strongly) hikers, is Mt Tom 
Mountain Range (Mount Tom USGS Quadrangle coverage).  Limited road side 
parking is available on the Route 202/North Rd hill climb (Westfield) just 
after the Holyoke MA city line which is approx 500 feet above the airport & 
would require a good pair of binoculars & cameras with telephoto lens.  I 
might add that after the last airshow there were some inexperienced hikers 
that had to be rescued by Holyoke PD/FD, so the police chief wants to arrest 
& get people to pay for their rescues if they aren't prepared.  The area is 
close to the Holyoke city Water Supply which is posted No Trespassing & 
people are cited & brought to court.
