VP Dick Cheney will be arriving in
Norfolk,VA tonight then going to
the airport Hilton Hotel for a  fundraiser 
for Republican Congresswoman Thelma
Drake.I hope he left his shotgun at
home dont want him shooting anyone
while he is here!! there is enough
of that in the Norfolk area as is


Saw a breif news segment about Marines
units in the Norfolk,VA area  doing major training
with a  full size mockup of a Iraqi town
using hummves and even a blimp if your 
in the Norfolk area you might want to see 
if you can pick up any comms on this


The Marine Corps plans to send the V-22 Osprey
aircraft into combat zones within a year and is
activating a squadron of the tilt-rotor planes this
week.Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263, which will
carry the Vietnam-era "Thunder Chickens" nickname of
the helicopter unit it is replacing  to be formally
activated Friday.The Ospreys will replace the aging,
Vietnam-era fleet of CH-46E twin-rotor helicopters
