MOAA's "Military Officer" magazine, March 2006 edition has an article "One 
Clean Shot"  -- Guardian angels of the battlefield, Marine snipers use their 
specialized skills to protect American servicemembers.

The basic sniper course is taught at Quantico (VA), Camp Pendleton (CA), 
Camp Lejeune (NC) & Kaneohe Bay (HI).  Advances courses such as urban 
sniping, urban surveillance, & mountain scouting/sniping are taught at the 
Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, CA.

Interestingly, from a milcom monitoring standpoint can anyone actually
