Nextel at the Daytona 500 had a handheld scanner/video
player unit they were renting out to fans for 50$ a
day which i thought that was a high price for one days
rental. The handheld unit allowed you to listen to the
drivers in-car audio and replay video from the
Jumbo-tron tv's to watch that accident or great pass
over again it allowed up to 4 ppl to plug to listen at
time. That would a great idea for airshows a handheld
scanner/video feed that would not only let you listen
into the demo teams comms but add video from the
cockpit to view the demo teams moves from there point
of view.I know we bring our scanners to the airshow
anyways to listen to the airshow comms and search for
new freqs but still something like what I describe
above would be very interesting idea
